Executive Management Team Bios

Doug Shamon
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Shamon has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Intermedix Corporation since its inception in 2002. Mr. Shamon has over 20 years of experience in healthcare business services, having held executive management positions with Certus Corp., a national healthcare services company specializing in hospital billing; Transcend Services, Inc., a national healthcare information services company; and Medaphis Corp., now Per Se Technologies, Inc., a national healthcare billing and AR management services company. Mr. Shamon graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College with his degree in accounting and computer science and holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Andy Nunemaker
President of Intermedix EMSystems
Mr. Nunemaker is the President of Intermedix EMSystems, a leading provider of communication solutions that enhance preparedness and response to medical emergencies, mass casualty events, and public health incidents, serving over 75% of the nation's population. Prior to his current role, Mr. Nunemaker held a number of executive roles with GE Healthcare including CEO of GE Healthcare for Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University, a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MBA from Harvard, where he served as student body president.

Ken Cooke
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Cooke joined Intermedix Corporation in early 2008 as Chief Operating Officer responsible for operations across all divisions. He brings to the Company over 25 years of operational experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he worked through the management ranks to Global and U.S. Chief Information Officer prior to joining our team. His experience includes establishing and delivering PwC's technology strategy during his tenure. Mr. Cooke completed undergraduate studies in Business and Economics at Marietta College and received an MBA from Ohio University.

Ken Goodin
Business Advisor
Mr. Goodin is a key Intermedix Business Advisor having served as President and Director of Intermedix's Emergency Department Division with over 26 years experience in the medical billing industry. Mr. Goodin joined Medical Consultants, Inc. (dba Intermedix) in 1984 and is active in a number of professional associations including the Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) where he currently serves on the Executive Board as National Treasurer. He is also the past President of the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA). Mr. Goodin holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brad Williams
Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Williams joined Intermedix in October 2003 and serves as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial management to his position from numerous senior financial management roles. His experience includes executive management roles with Hollywood Entertainment Corp.; CompUSA; Lifetime Products, Inc.; and Western Insurance Companies of Texas. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Mr. Williams graduated from Baylor University with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rick Fossier
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Fossier brings over 19 years of Sales and Sales Management experience to his position as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Intermedix. He leads the Business Development Team for all revenue cycle management divisions of the Company. Prior to joining Intermedix, Mr. Fossier served as the Vice President of Sales for a Nashville based media company. Mr. Fossier attended both Yale University and Michigan State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.

Karen Collier
Chief Compliance Officer
Since 1999, Ms. Collier has served as the Corporate Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer for EPBS-Intermedix, and currently holds the position of Intermedix Chief Compliance Officer. She is a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma and served as the legal analyst and program manager for a two-year study grant on healthcare financing reform. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance, Ms. Collier worked in commercial banking before attending law school. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with a Juris Doctor with Distinction degree.  Ms. Collier is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association Health Law Section, and the Oklahoma Bar Association.  She is holds a CHC certification (Certified in Health Care Compliance) from the Health Care Compliance Association, and is a frequent speaker around the country on a variety of compliance topics.

Rowan Snyder
Chief Information Officer
Prior to joining Intermedix, Mr. Snyder served as the Chief Information Officer of KPMG LLP. Before joining KPMG in 2003, he was the U.S. and Global Chief Technology Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to PwC, Mr. Snyder was the CIO of the Nestle Perrier Group of America. He has extensive experience in IT strategy, turnarounds, and team building. His organization has been recognized as the winner of the prestigious CIO Magazine Enterprise Value award. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
